Trying a Horse

Here"s the final outcome of that idea.
I call it "Warm Springs Gold" oil on canvas 24" x 36" 2009

Adding a Palomino mare to this summer meadow of golden grasses seemed to bring this painting into a new zone for me, but she seemed a bit lonely as I looked at the broader picture, so I decided to give her some company. And so I did.
