I did this plein air painting from my friend Martin's back porch at his old Waialua beach house on Moloka'i's east end mana'e area beach. Every afternoon it rains on Maui eight miles away, hence the rainbow. I got the piece back yesterday to put a frame on for him. So I thought I give you all a look at it. It's titled "Maui Rainbow - Martin's View" oil on canvas 16" x 20" 2001. Aloha for now, Timo
