Mossy Trees & Ferns

I got my camera back this evening so I took some photos to show you what I've been working on lately. This is the beginning of the first painting of the little hillside path that is lined with several kinds of ferns and many other varieties plants. Some of them are flowering now. Others are still just a promise of beauty yet to be experienced. I noticed some wild orchid leaves among this verdant green tapestry this morning on my walk. What a joy it is to be able to walk here on this gorgeous sunny Winter becoming Spring day!
